Spyderco Smock scales with a NEW style of relief laser engraving that feels similar to hand engraving!
We now offer a knife installation option when you buy a set of our smock scales:
– Buy the engraved scales only
– Buy the installed on knife option (comes with the scales installed on the knife, with original hardware and the original carbon fiber scales)
The intricately detailed leaf scroll design that includes unique shading lines for an almost 3D look has a NEW LOOK, with hours of laser work and polishing going into each scale. Over 100 passes for depth and to ensure that no detail is missed, scales are then lightly sanded and hand polished for smooth edges with a one of a kind feel. Engraved using one of our many fiber lasers in the shop.
One of the many things we take pride in with the way we engrave is, we trace every scale to get a perfect outline! It creates a unique invisible boarder look around the entire scale. We do not just lay the scales down and let the engraving hang off the sides, we take the extra steps to make sure our scales look and feel their very best!
Scales will ship in flat rate priority box.
Flytanium brand scales:
- Includes pocket clip holes for right hand, tip-up carry
- Scales come in at 3.15oz
- Solid brass, antique stonewash finish (standard Smock scales)
Uses hardware from stock knife.
-Installation of the scales requires some basic tools and knowledge.
*Please note: More often than not, there can be a slight rattle with the stop pin after installing any aftermarket parts.
***We do remove the second unnecessary detent to give a better flicking motion for your edc, but it is included with your purchase if you want to reinstall it.
Disclaimer: There are many small parts and pieces on the Smock. It is NOT easy to take apart. Disassemble at your own risk.
