BENCHMADE BUGOUT – COPPER BACKSPACER WITH SHIPWRECK PATINA
A one of a kind shipwreck patina finish, with varying shades of green and blue. Clear coat is applied to seal and preserve the look.
NOTE: THE BACKSPACER YOU RECEIVE MAY LOOK DIFFERENT THAN THE STOCK PHOTO. Due to the nature of the patina process, some have more blue than others as well as varying shades of blue.
***Shipwreck Patina Finish***
The shipwreck patina will naturally change based on usage, it is like a living finish that will continue to evolve due to dirt and oils on your hand and in the environment. I do apply a clear coat to seal the patina, but you can do an additional clear coat to double up on it. Any clear coat will work and you can apply as often as you want.
Solid copper construction. Fits both stock and Flytanium Bugout scales.
*Knife not included. Uses hardware from stock knife.
You may need two torx bits to tighten each screw in the spacers.
Installation of the backspacer requires some basic tools and knowledge. You will need a high quality Torx bit set to remove the screws and pivot.
