47mm brass coin is laser engraved using one of our many fiber lasers. Unlike other engraved coins you may see that are made in china and are made of cupronickel (or other mixed metals), these coins come to us as raw material blanks that are hand polished and aged after engraving. You can see the raw blanks in the background of the photos. These are twice as thick as our normal 47mm coins.

Each coin is hand polished, engraved, polished again and then aged. The finish will vary on the coin you receive when compared to these stock photos, due to the nature of hand polishing and the aging process.
